NOVEMBER ANNOUNCEMENTS

These are One Love's church announcements for the month of November 2024. 1. Mid-Week Bible Study is held on Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm at the church. The lesson focus is FROM MEMBERSHIP TO DISCIPLESHIP. The book used in the class is "Training for Service''. You can call the Church Admin to get a copy of the book which costs $10.00. Please bring your Study Bible, pens, pencils and paper with you to the class. 2. One Love's Food Distribution will be held on Saturday, November 9th, 2024 beginning at 11:00am at the church. Members of the Set-up Team, the Outreach Team and volunteers are to report by 9:00am sharp to pray, get assignments and instructions. 3. One Love will have its Adopt-A-Highway Cleanup on Saturday, November 9th, 2024 beginning after Outreach ends. Volunteers are needed for a few hours to help make sure Horton Road is free of trash. To sign up to volunteer for this Outreach event, you can sign send an email to Bro Diamonte Sanders at sandersdiamonte@gmail.com.
4. Community Health Coalition (35th Anniversary) – Ribbon Cutting & Community Festival will take place on Sunday, November 10th, 2024. The Community Health Coalition Day will be held at One Love Christian Church. Beginning at 2:00pm, there will be a ribbon cutting to launch the new mobile health unit and the food distribution trucks. Starting at 3:00pm, the community festival will begin. There will be a DJ, free food, bouncy houses, food trucks, face painting, health screening, vaccinations, health resources and much more. Bring the kids!!! Everything is FREE. 5. Radiance Singles, One Love’s Singles Ministry, will meet on Thursday, November 14th, 2024 at 7:00pm at the church. There will be a potluck dinner and everyone is asked to bring a dish. Please contact Sis Yvonne Roberts at 919-225-7405 and let her know what food item you will bring. The gathering will take place at One Love Christian Church, located at 1315 Horton Road in Durham, NC. All single men and women are invited to attend. There will be fun, fellowship and food. 6. Men join Pastor Fitzpatrick for the next Brotherhood of the Crown MANTALK on Sunday evening, November 24th, 2024 at 5:30pm. The MANTALK session will be held via ZOOM. 7. Join us at One Love for Worship Service live at the church on Sundays at 9:30 am. All are welcome to attend the live service. If you cannot join us live at the church, you can join us at 10:00am for the virtual service on our Church App (OLCC DURHAM) or via Facebook Live or on One Love's YouTube Channel (One Love Christian Church). 8. Parents, One Love has Children's Church (One Love Academy) on every 1st and 2nd Sundays. On 3rd Sundays, One Love has 'Children's Spotlight' where children showcase what they have learned in Children's Church and they also get to serve alongside church leaders in various positions on that Sunday. Children are in the sanctuary on 4th and 5th Sundays hearing the message. For more information about Children's Church, please contact Sis Tyonda Love at 919-685-7017.
