Adelaide Banks is a member of One Love Christian Church. She teaches Black American history and Race Relations through workshops, creative arts, Know Black History Podcast, YouTube videos and speaking engagements. She feels that her diverse background and life in varied locations was God’s preparation for paving perspectives through seven decades of America in transition. She founded Read Seed, Inc, literacy nonprofit and gave thousands of books to children. She holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Sociology. Born in North Carolina, she returned thirty years ago to Durham with her son and daughter. She is a proud grandmother of four.
