In Loving Memory of Minister Hattie Renee Bethea

Minister Hattie Renee Bethea, a long time member of One Love Christian Church, departed this life on Thursday, April 6, 2023. Minister Renee was an active member of OLCC and served in many capacities since joining the church in October 2009. Mother Renee, as she was affectionately known, was truly passionate about serving, helping, and praying for others. She loved her church and her church family.

The services for Mother Renee will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at One Love Christian Church located at 1315 Horton Road in Durham, NC. Viewing and family visitation will be held from 11:00am to 12:00 noon, and the Homegoing Service will begin after the visitation at 12:00 noon.

The service can be viewed via ZOOM starting at 12:00 noon on Saturday. To join the service via Zoom, go to Zoom via your mobile app or internet site (ZOOM.us) and join using the Meeting ID: 845 514 3350

Flowers and memorials can be sent to Burthey Funeral Home located at 1510 Fayetteville Street in Durham, NC 27707. Donations can also be made on behalf of Minister Renee Bethea to One Love's Matthew25 Alive Outreach Ministry. Minister Bethea served the Outreach Ministry faithfully since becoming a member of the church over 14 years ago.
